DK Recruitment are excited to be working with an Exeter based client in their search for a Management Accountant. This is a newly created role and plays a crucial role within the team and alongside company growth will evolve into a Financial Controller position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insight to internal stakeholders and business partner across the business
- Manage cash flow with weekly reporting to the Finance Director.
- Oversee month-end processes and ensure a 5-day turnaround for management accounts.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist in quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Ensure statutory compliance with CT, VAT, and PAYE.
Duties:
- Support the finance team, adhering to established processes.
- Oversee and report on gross margin and variable costs.
- Run weekly KPI reports and chair KPI meetings.
- Review and analyze sales reporting and collaborate with the commercial team to meet forecast targets.
- Conduct costing and pricing reviews for existing and new products.
Requirements:
- Qualified/Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
- Two years' experience in preparing management accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to adjust priorities as needed.
- Confident communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues across various departments and levels.
Compensation:
- Annual salary of £40,000 - £50,000, based on experience.
