Marketing Executive - OPTO

Role and Responsibilities

As a Marketing Executive at OPTO, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Customer Lifecycle, using Braze to coordinate eCRM efforts to publish email, in-app, and push notifications to retain, engage and activate users.
  • Improving messaging during onboarding to optimise conversion at each stage of the funnel.
  • Implementing effective audience segmentation to ensure targeted communications are delivered to users and prospects at the relevant stage of the funnel.
  • Generating innovative and novel product marketing ad campaign ideas to promote the OPTOapp, with proposals submitted to the Head of Content Marketing & Product Lead for approval.
  • Project managing campaigns to ensure marketing efforts are delivered efficiently, to an agreed deadline, and with maximum impact.
  • Reporting on marketing campaigns to monitor performance, suggest improvements, and to present findings to the rest of the team.
  • Securing and managing external partnerships, including affiliates, influencers, and industry thought-leaders.
  • Conducting audience research, organising user interviews, and synthesising findings to develop a deep understanding of OPTO's audience.
  • Assisting on the set up and management of paid campaigns across all major social media channels, including X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit.
  • Assisting in the publication of organic campaigns/posts on the aforementioned social media channels.
  • Contributing to the publication of top-of-the-funnel content for lead generation, requiring a basic understanding of SEO.
  • Working with AI tools like ChatGPT to optimise productivity.

Key Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant marketing experience, with a background in Investments or Fintech.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Proven experience in project managing complex marketing campaigns across multiple channels, requiring coordination with various cross-functional teams.
  • Competence in marketing fundamentals, including personas, customer insight development, and executing go-to-market campaigns.
  • The ability to combine creativity with strategic and commercial thinking, using data to optimise towards key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • A track record in consumer marketing and a solid understanding of channels used for acquiring and retaining customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and distill data into actionable insights to inform campaign strategy and product development. Experience in market research is a plus.
  • A genuine interest in Investments and/or Fintech.
