The Role: Are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Year to join our team. This pivotal role is open to candidates from any subject specialism. As the Head of Year, you will play a crucial role in the pastoral care and academic progress of a specific year group, supporting students to achieve their best in all aspects of school life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and management to a designated year group.
  • Monitor and support the academic progress and well-being of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies to support student development.
  • Implement and manage strategies to improve student attendance and behaviour.
  • Organize and lead year group assemblies and events.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
