My client is a legal 500 law firm seeking a talented and experienced Family Solicitor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in handling a variety of family law matters, providing expert advice, and representing clients in court proceedings when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of family law matters including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and domestic violence cases.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented at all times.
- Conduct negotiations with opposing parties and their solicitors to reach favourable settlements.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, and consent orders.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings, presenting cases effectively and advocating for their rights.
- Stay up to date with developments in family law and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and case law.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3-6 years PQE
- Solid experience handling a wide range of family law matters, including complex cases.
- Proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes amicably.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of relevant family law legislation and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
