We are looking for a committed Social Worker with a focus on Adult Safeguarding to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult safeguarding, statutory responsibilities, and experience with Section 42 enquiries.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conducting statutory duties related to adult safeguarding, including Section 42 enquiries.
- Working Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, with a hybrid working model that includes office-based meetings and duty 1-2 times per week.
- Performing visits as and when required to ensure the safety and well-being of adults in need of support.
- Promoting best practices and providing guidance within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding.
- Statutory experience within adult social care.
- Experience with Section 42 of the Care Act.
- Ability to conduct visits and manage a varied caseload.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, including Practice Educator training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
