We are delighted to share an opportunity for a skilled
maintenance fitter
to join our client and support their operations at their headquarters in Long Marston.
The role
As a key member of the team, you will assist with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant and machinery, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- £14.93 per hour
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Rotating shifts, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
- Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon
Key accountabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Swift Response: Quickly address and assist in correcting plant breakdowns.
- Maintenance & Repair: Oversee the repair of plant machinery and maintenance of facilities, tooling, and equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and performance of site equipment.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to Supervisors in plant operations.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure plant availability and production are maintained at the highest possible level.
- Compliance: Adhere to legislation and company standards, including Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community policies.
- Versatility: Perform other duties as required to support the company's goals.
Skills & experience
- Experience in medium to heavy industry.
- Welding/fabricating experience and qualifications.
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Electrical qualifications (advantageous).
- FLT licence would be advantageous.
