Registered Manager - Independent Hospital

Location: Winsford

Salary: £56,233 plus up to £5,000 performance-based bonus per annum

Contract type: Full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week (option to work 4.5 day working week / 9 day working fortnight)

38 days annual leave entitlement with the option to buy or sell. Annual leave accrued with service up to 5 additional days.

About the role as a Registered Manager

As the Registered Manager of our clients Treatment and Recovery Centre, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, providing both clinical and operational oversight. Your key responsibility is to ensure that the centre runs efficiently, meeting high-quality care standards and regulatory requirements while adhering to company policies and procedures. In this role, you will drive clinical excellence and compliance within the centre, always maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and delivering outstanding care to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead and motivate teams to deliver compliant, high-quality care.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to CQC standards and healthcare policies.
  • Service Quality: Implement best practices for top-tier service outcomes.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Performance: Monitor contracts and report to stakeholders on time.
  • Collaboration: Promote openness and teamwork within the centre and with partners.
  • Person-Centred Care: Align services with recovery-focused care principles.
  • Assurance: Ensure care standards are met, addressing any gaps.
  • Quality Improvement: Continuously improve standards and policies.
  • Incident Response: Lead post-incident learning and risk mitigation.
  • Training: Ensure staff maintain professional registration and skills.
  • Staffing: Maintain adequate staffing and resources.
  • Governance: Oversee audits and ensure compliance.
  • Safeguarding: Uphold safeguarding and equality standards per the Care Act.

Essential Qualities and experience

  • You must be a registered practitioner with a current active registration
  • 4 years minimum experience post registration in a clinical environment

Leadership: Motivate teams to deliver high-quality care.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to CQC standards.

Service Quality: Implement best practices for care outcomes.

Budget Management: Oversee efficient budget use.

Performance: Monitor and report contract performance.

Collaboration: Foster teamwork within and outside the centre.

Person-Centred Care: Focus on recovery-driven care.

Assurance: Ensure care standards are consistently met.

Quality Improvement: Drive continuous improvements.

Incident Response: Lead risk mitigation and learning from incidents.

Training: Maintain staff qualifications and skills.

Staffing: Ensure proper staffing levels and resources.

Governance: Oversee audits and ensure compliance.

Safeguarding: Uphold safeguarding and equality standards.

Additional Responsibilities as a Registered Manager

  • Lead on recruitment, selection, and team development.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and internal policies.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, ensuring high-quality service during out-of-hours operations.
  • Travel within the operational area as needed.
