As our new Receptionist, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping our offices running smoothly while making a lasting impression on everyone who walks through our doors.
Working hours: Full time, 40 hrs/week
Responsibilities:
- Provide a professional front-of-house service by welcoming all visitors and managing the reception area
- Handle and direct incoming calls for GDMA Group and Progressive Care
- Manage meeting room bookings and preparation, including refreshments.
- Sort incoming post, manage outgoing mail, and handle deliveries/logistics
- Maintain up-to-date internal contact directories
- Provide confidential administrative support to the Estates team
- Log and monitor incoming maintenance and helpdesk requests via the internal job system
- Support the Estates Manager & Estates Coordinator with day-to-day office operations
- Carry out daily office opening/closing routines and ensure communal areas remain presentable
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house administrative role - Essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organised, reliable, and able to manage a busy workload
- Experience with job logging/helpdesk systems is desirable but not essential
