Office Administrator

A successful and growing company based in Borehamwood is seeking an Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for the day to day operations of the office. This candidate must have experience working within an accountancy practice and will thrive in a fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organised with good IT skills. This role is office based, Monday to Friday.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Maintain office filing system that includes scanning, filing and organising documents
  • Be responsible for incoming mail and packages for all departments
  • Maintain client records
  • Type letters, reports and professional documents
  • Assist with filling statutory documents with Companies House and HMRC
  • Meet and liaise with clients
  • Familiarise with Companies house and HMRC filing online and forming companies
  • Manage an effective and efficient filing system
  • Manage all client records on database
  • Administrative support to all teams when required

Key Skills:

  • Must have at least 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail
  • Good IT skills and knowledge with Microsoft
  • Experience with IRIS, BTC and CCH would be desired but not essential
