Humanities Teacher

Reed Education North Wales are working with a Secondary school in Denbigh, we are recruiting for a Humanities Teacher on a full time basis to teach Humanities to key stage 3 and 4. This role is to start June 2024 and is to required to cover a short term staff absence. I am keen to hear from Humanities Teachers who have a passion for Geography / History or Religious Studies and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for students.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students

Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents

Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Humanities education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriate.

Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS), (ECT) or equivalent

Proven experience teaching Humanities to students of all ages and abilities

Enhanced DBS (this can be processed through Reed)

EWC membership

Rights to work in the UK
