Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking experienced Radiographer to producing high-quality diagnostic imaging across various specialties, including MSK, Gastro-intestinal, Neurology, Gynaecology, Angiography, Thoracic, Head and Neck, Paediatrics, and Urology.

Main duties of the job
- Produce high-quality diagnostic imaging for multiple specialties, following protocol-driven guidelines.
- Operate Siemens Aera and GE Signa 1.5T MR scanners.
- Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate records using the HIVE system.
- Observe MR safety guidelines and local rules.
- Perform moving and handling tasks associated with the role.
- Administer medicines under PGDs and perform intravenous cannulation.
- Coordinate in-patient scans and manage waiting lists, including urgent slots for Cauda equina and MSCC patients.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in MR Imaging.
- Proficiency in operating Siemens Aera and GE Signa 1.5T MR scanners.
- Skilled in intravenous cannulation and experience working under PGDs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage scan coordination and prioritization.
