Educate GM's partner school in Gorton, Manchester is looking for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their flourishing and diverse school.
The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence from September 2024. This great opportunity will pay £85-£95 a day, depending on experience.
The Head Teacher for the inner-city Manchester Primary School seeks someone with exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children reach their goals. You will also be required to support the class teacher in daily classroom tasks such as taking children out for small group interventions, setting up daily resources, and attending school trips.
You will be joining a successful school within Gorton, Manchester, where children thrive. The school has supportive staff members passionate about high standards and working as part of a team. The school encourages staff development and there are always opportunities to grow your skills as a teaching assistant.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A Teaching Assistant qualification or working towards one
- Experience in a UK school preferably in KS2
- Experience of delivering interventions is desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Patience & understanding.
- Enthusiasm and a passion for helping children excel.
- Great behaviour management.

- A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
