Are you an active person with an enthusiasm for the outdoors? We're looking for an Active Outdoors Assistant to help deliver our daily cycle hire offer and other active outdoors activities across Blickling Estate.

You'll be helping visitors connect with nature through cycling and outdoor play at Blickling. As an important member of the Visitor Experience team and reporting to the Active Outdoors Development Coordinator, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day operation of our cycle hire.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with volunteers, part of your role will be to ensure our fleet of bikes are safe and ready to help visitors explore the estate. You'll set them up for a great day out in an engaging and fun way. With your great communication skills, you'll also play an active role in the delivery of other outdoor activities such as Parkrun and Trust10, as well as visitor engagement in the countryside.

This is a fixed term role within the Visitor Experience team. We are here when our visitors need us, so weekend work is included. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the charity. We'd give you as much notice of this as possible.

The Visitor Experience team helps to create, promote and share experiences with our supporters, inviting them to stand alongside us and play their part in safeguarding the future of Blickling. We want to open these experiences up to a broader range of audiences and better reflect the changing needs of our local communities, to ensure we are for everyone, for ever.
