We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient running of our clients North London based warehouse operation.

Description
The Warehouse Manager will oversee the running of our clients warehouse and picking operation in North London. You will be responsible for modernising and updating practices and processes to be ready for future growth while maintaining excellent service levels to all customers. Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver the highest possible standards of speed and service in a fast-moving supply chain with complex inventory of 3K+ SKUs.
- Ensure service levels are maintained across a wide range of customer profiles including the major multiples, large restaurant chains, manufacturers, export distributors and independents.
- Ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained and compliant to legal & BRC standards, maintain site security, ensure site is clean and tidy at all times.
- Control costs through constant pro-active management and by running an efficient and cost-effective operation.
- Review and implement any operational changes needed e.g. layout, picking locations etc.
- Ensuring readiness for BRC audits at all times and working closely with the technical department to ensure product and personal safety and a zero accident rate.
- Ensure comprehensive job training programmes are in place and enforced and licenses kept up to date where relevant.
- Continually analyse data to drive forward the operation.
- Ensure staff engagement and manage shift schedules including management of the night operation.
- Ensure and maintain good communication between warehouse and non-warehouse staff (sales, purchasing, technical and accounts).
- Implement and maintain the highest health and safety standards, training and record-keeping.
- Ensuring computer systems are fit for purpose through close liaison with the IT team and COO, ensure data is maintained and up to date within the WMS.
Profile
The successful Warehouse Manager will live within a commuting distance of North London and be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- Previous warehouse leadership experience within a fast paced operation.
- FMCG and multi-temperature experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent people management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- A proven track record of building and delivering operational excellence.
- Strong communication and coaching skills, commitment to achieving set KPI's and driving positive change.
- Experience in driving forward change without compromising existing functionality and service levels to established customers.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
