We are looking an experienced, hands-on financial controller to work within a small but very busy manufacturing company in the Rugby area.
This is an office-based role where you take responsibility for all financial functions within this business, duties such as preparing figures (annual and quarterly), preparing forecasts and budgets, dealing with a P&L, reconciling the balance sheets or dealing with any company's house / HMRC submissions.
It's a typical financial controller but with a cross over in chartered accountancy.
This is a key role for my client and one that does require a hands-on person who is willing to help on the office if needed or if people are off on holiday or sick.
This role would suit an ambitious person who wants to take a great overall responsibility for the finances of a SME and someone who is happy with a full time, office-based role.
To be considered - you MUST have the following:
- Qualified accountant up to CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Degree educated.
- Good understands of UK corporate tax and VAT reporting (essential).
- Really good IT skills (ideally using Sage 200 along with the typical MS office range).
- Someone who have presented to board level before.
- A natural leader - you are at the top of the financial food chain within this company.
