Are you a Qualified by Experience or a Qualified Accountant who has extensive analytical knowledge and experience leading month-end.
A highly-established business who have gone through a fast period of change are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to help lead financial strategy, assist with decision-making and drive efficiencies across the business.
This is initially a six-month assignment which is likely to be extended and could go permanent.
What you will do:
- Provide detailed analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports while providing compliance and ensuring the business meets regiulatory standards.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts while providing variance analysis
- Assisting in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasting processes.
- Conducting cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Collaborating with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models to support various business scenarios and strategic planning efforts
- Monitoring capitalised development spend with identification of risks and assist tax advisors with R&D claim
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in management accounting.
