Hourly Rate: £22.83 PAYE / £29.42 LTD UMB

  • Location: Southeast London
  • Job Type: Temporary, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home)
  • Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a Facilities Officer for an immediate start in a temporary ongoing booking with a local authority in Southeast London. The role involves responding to emergency or urgent property management issues, resolving them quickly and cost-effectively, and requires a working knowledge of building statutory requirements.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Respond to emergency or urgent property management issues when escalated by the Area Facilities Officers.
  • Resolve issues as quickly and as cost-effectively as possible.
  • Supervise and support the Area Facilities Officers, ensuring a high standard of work.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of building statutory requirements.
  • Manage a busy workload effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver both hard and soft facilities management services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Facilities Management, including both hard and soft services.
  • Proven ability to work in a busy environment, managing own workload and supervising others.
  • Experience with systems such as Excel, CAFM, and Microsoft packages.
  • IOSH Managing Safety qualification is preferable.
  • Supervisor experience is preferable.
