Qualifications needed

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) (grades 9-4 / A-C) which must include Maths and English Language.

AND

  • 3 A-Levels (grades A-C, including Maths)

OR

  • AAT Qualified (L4) or equivalent other professional body qualification

OR

  • Foundation Diploma

OR

  • Graduate with a 2.1 degree or above from a recognised university equivalent to a UK bachelor's degree

A vacancy has arisen for someone to join our small friendly team as an Apprentice studying towards an AAT/ACCA Professional qualification. The role is office-based Monday-Thursday and working from home Friday. One of the best things about the role is the variety of the work. Initially this will be undertaking duties such as:

  • Weekly contractor payroll
  • Credit control
  • Cash allocation
  • Responding to contractor/client requests
  • Customer account reconciliations
  • You must have basic Outlook with basic Excel skills.

  • Curious with a passion to learn and confidence to ask questions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex issues
  • Creative problem solving with ability/desire to develop innovative solutions
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision

  • Ability/desire to develop knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
