We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to young people with learning difficulties, disabilities, and autism. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference, promoting independence, and removing barriers to learning.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored emotional and practical support to individuals, addressing their unique needs.
  • Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in partnership with service users.
  • Collaborate with family members, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties for comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records of care, adhering to confidentiality and data protection standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license due to the remote location.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by young people with learning difficulties, disabilities, and autism.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and Safeguarding principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a support role is preferred.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
