Reed Procurement are delighted to be supporting a leading business within Teeside who are looking to recruit an experienced Buyer on a full time permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Raise/Create RFQ's, RTO's, Purchase and Repair Orders.
- Expedite outstanding Quotations, Orders and Repairs to ensure promised delivery dates.
- Maintaining previously set re-order levels with economic batch ordering and best practice applied.
- Produce and maintain Shortage and Open order book Reports.
- Develop and maintain good supplier relationships both external and internal.
- Liaise with appropriate parties to resolve queries e.g.. Purchase Order, Tech support, Production Support, Invoices and Quality Failures.
- Conduct Regular Supplier Review Meetings.
Requirements:
- Experience of Procurement of Aircraft Spares, Raw Materials and Chemicals (Desirable)
- Previous Aerospace/Aviation experience (Desirable)
- Able to work with, influence and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to react, negotiate and manage multiple demands.
- Previous experience of working with ERP systems.
- Batchelors Degree or Equivalent (Desirable)
- CIPS Level 4 (or training towards)
