Job Title : Learning And Dvelopment Officer - 3 days per week

Salary Range: £26,000 - £28,000
Job Purpose
This role is key in delivering effective, targeted digital and online learning solutions across the organization. Responsibilities include using a range of digital formats, including eLearning, videos, podcasts, and emerging technology, to design and deliver training. The role also involves supporting learning and development projects, both as a project leader and team contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Learning Projects: Support digital and systems projects by developing training materials, user guides, and eLAB portals as needed.
- eLAB Training Management: Oversee the monthly eLAB training cycle, including designing, scheduling, and evaluating content.
- Inductions and Training Matrices: Develop and implement online induction programs and training matrices for various departments.
- eLearning Development: Identify, design, and assess digital learning needs, delivering tailored eLearning resources.
- Communication: Use social media, videos, and internal communications to promote learning opportunities.
- Resource Library: Create and maintain an online repository of learning resources for independent and blended learning.
- Compliance and Evaluation: Ensure mandatory eLearning compliance is integrated and regularly reviewed; evaluate learning impact for continuous improvement.
Person Specification
Education & Qualifications
- Essential: Basic numeracy/literacy, Level 3 management qualification (or equivalent), training qualification,
- evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Desirable: Project management experience or certification.
- Level 3 management qualification or relevant experience - ESSENTIAL
- Training qualification or relevant experience - ESSENTIAL
- Evidence of continuing professional development - ESSENTIAL
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in creating and managing digital learning materials, with familiarity in LMS administration.
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office Suite, with experience in developing materials collaboratively with internal and external experts.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage and prioritize workload.
- Familiarity with retail industry operations.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
