Technical Business Analyst /Project Manager

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst/ Project Manager

Duration: 12 months fixed term assignment

Location: Bromley (3 days week on site)

Start: Immediately

Salary: Circa £110k/Annum

Experience and Skills required:

  • Appreciation of Scrum, Agile and Lean working principles
  • Experienced in Settlement life cycle, Security Settlement or Swift.
  • Have a working knowledge and experience of securitised back-office core processes ideally in the Settlements domain.
  • Chair and co-ordinate analysis and planning sessions, organise team routines and support project administration tasks in JIRA and in our release process and in other project management and delivery tools.
  • Manage stakeholders and facilitate communications with them.
  • Be willing to understand code at a basic level and have an interest in technology.
  • Become familiar with the products and applications used by the lines of business, how it's used to by the businesses is key to shaping development of software solutions to detailed and often complex requirements.
  • Evolving the details of the user stories through being integrated into the development team and staying close the user to re affirm solution is tracking the requirement.
  • Collaborates across teams to build out detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Timely and effectively communication within project to manage risk and escalations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think 'out of the box' to identify process improvements.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills to support and shape the platform, and to be able to clearly articulate technical designs and business concepts.
  • Be a team player, and have good organisational, collaborative, taking ownership, multitasking and people skills.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be a key figure within the team working within an Agile team, analysing and writing requirements and specifications (e.g. automated tests), developing relationships across technology and business communities.
  • As the successful applicant you will be responsible for supporting modern agile software development methods by leading planning and requirements gathering sessions with the team and our Operations partners and working with teams across London and other regions.
  • Facilitate billing, reporting and cost effectiveness support

Perform initial steps for escalations, researches and prepares follow ups.

  • Own and track infrastructure implementation tasks for business-driven projects
