Hours: 37.5 hours per week

IT Support Engineer - The Role:

Working as an IT Support Engineer the ideal applicant will have experience in dealing with end users and have the ability to manage a wide range of technical problems in a logical manner, in what can be a challenging and demanding environment.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, hardware and software knowledge, troubleshooting skills and a willing to learn. Training will be provided where necessary.

This role is based at our Heathrow Hub, based in Colnbrook and will also include some visits to our other sites when required.

IT Support Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

  • End user support
  • Supporting a range of internal systems
  • Supporting Microsoft Teams rooms and VOIP/SIP based networks
  • Supporting security technologies and CCTV systems
  • WiFi Network support and mobile device administration
  • Windows Administration
  • Cloud Technologies

IT Support Engineer - You:

For this IT Support Engineer opportunity, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills with both internal colleagues and external customers

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Hands-on approach
  • Process driven with the ability to think outside the box
  • Delivering the highest standards of customer service

  • Ability to join teams on-call rota

Desirable technical IT skills for the ideal candidate are:

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Understanding of networking technologies
  • Exchange or other email systems
  • Office 365 admin skills
  • Cisco networking knowledge
  • HHT / Barcode scanning technologies
  • Active Directory / Entra knowledge
  • Network printer management knowledge

In addition, you will need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
