The Technical Projects Manager role involves managing a various projects from design through to industrialisation, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role is based in Doncaster and requires a firm understanding of the plastics industry.

Description

Reporting to the European Technical Director, the Technical Projects Manager will have responsibility for a range of projects including industrialisation, proto-typing and supply chain development. They will:

  • Manage broad range of projects from design to completion
  • Ensure all projects adhere to set budgets and timelines
  • Maintain high quality standards across all projects
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement project strategies and plans
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Mitigate project risks and manage any issues that arise
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes

Profile

The successful Technical Projects Manager will possess a range of the following:

  • Proven experience managing engineering and manufacturing projects
  • Experience in a similar role ideally within the Plastics Manufacturing industry
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge and experience
  • Experience with project management tools including MS project and Smart sheet
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • A degree in Engineering or similar relevant qualification
