We have a brand new opportunity for a savvy and business driven Assistant Director of Sales to join a stunning and prestigious country house hotel based in Buckingham.

You will be the driving force behind their revenue growth and market expansion across their corporate, group and MICE. Responsible for building and nurturing relationships with high key clients and your creativity and strategic thinking will be key in developing and executing innovative sales strategies that sets them apart from the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a proactive approach in maximising revenue for corporate, group bookings and MICE business
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities within the UK focusing on the MICE market to meet hotel budget targets
  • Maintain open communication with the General Manager and to create a sales-driven culture and improve performance
  • Identify and build relationships with local businesses to enhance brand visibility and increase direct bookings
  • Market and sell hotel events within the local community, collaborating with destination organisations for effective outreach
  • Assist in the development and execution of the sales and marketing plan
  • Leverage local sales resources to drive customer engagement and community initiatives according to seasonal needs

What do you need to qualify for this role?

  • It essential you have your own transport and can travel as required
  • You will have current proactive sales experience within a 4* / 5* hotel with meetings and conferencing
  • It is essential you are driven, very well presented personally, can act on your own initiative where appropriate
  • Experience in working within a proactive sales role, with set targets and objectives
  • Exhibit a methodical and systematic approach, maintaining high levels of organisation
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail
