Junior Account Manager (Sales)

We are looking for a dynamic Junior Account Manager to work within the Sales team at The Law Superstore, a leading comparison site in the legal services sector.

We need a confident and motivated individual to increase our panel of legal firms and solicitors for The Law Superstore. The Junior Account Manager will be part of the Sales team responsible for increasing the number of partners we have and managing the relationships with existing partners. The Junior Account Manager will be contacting and offering non-obligatory free trials to potential partners and seeking to maximise the business we do with existing partners.

Working within the Sales team and reporting to the Legal Account Manager the Junior Account Manager's key tasks will be:

  • Client Relationship Management: Actively support the Legal Account manager to Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of partners.
  • Understanding Client Needs: Gain a deep understanding of partners' businesses, industries, and objectives to offer tailored solutions.
  • Account Planning: Assist the Legal Account Manager to create and implement account-specific strategies and action plans to meet partner needs and revenue targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay well-informed about our products or services to effectively address partner inquiries and provide expert advice.
  • Communication: Support the Legal Account Manager with partner inquiries, issues, and escalations, and ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Help to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling our products or services within your account base.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and anticipating partner needs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of regular reports and updates for partners, as well as analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner Negotiation: Negotiate and upsell with current partner panel.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, development, and product development teams to align strategies and goals.

Other responsibilities

  • Understanding and use of company and external CRMs
  • Proactive prospecting for new partners that fit the company requirements
  • Supporting other departments when necessary
  • Attend external networking events, award shows, conferences etc.

About you Education, Skills, knowledge, and abilities

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent
  • Sales skills - confident and articulate, on the phone, face to face and email
  • Excellent written communication skills and telephone manner essential
  • Good level of IT Literacy: Including confidence with Outlook and the whole Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn and use the reallymoving/The Law Superstore administration systems (training will be given)
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Ability to handle complaints from users in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to drive useful and willingness to travel to meetings.
  • Knowledge of/interest in e-commerce and social media

Knowledge of any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Experience of working within the Legal sector desirable (not essential)
