Description
- Leading a team of finance professionals and ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports and statements.
- Working closely with senior management to formulate financial strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Overseeing budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Performing financial analysis and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating with external auditors to ensure successful audit processes.
- Contributing to the overall strategic planning of the organisation.
Profile
A successful Interim Accountant should have:
- A strong educational background in Accounting or Finance.
- Extensive expertise in a similar role within the Not for Profit and Charities industry.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
