Our client specialise in providing their customers with the highest quality chromatography supplies and customer service within chromatography consumables and supplies. They are now looking for a driven individual with either a sales profile within chemistry or lab based background looking to make an impact within their company.

Role Overview

As a Technical Sales Representative, your role is to assist customers directly in your assigned territory through phone, email, and in-person visits selling Chromatography consumables and supplies . Your goal is to boost sales and profits by providing both technical expertise and sales support as well as forge strong relationships with customers and aim to exceed their expectations with exceptional service.

Key Duties

  • Building business relationships selling our clients full range of chromatography consumable products (LC and GC columns and sample prep
  • Executing territory business plan, maintaining customer base, and managing mailing lists.
  • Demonstrating products, troubleshooting, and growing sales through customer visits.
  • Identifying new product opportunities and engaging with potential customers.
  • Organising technical seminars at conferences and distributor events.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science
  • Chromatography experience within a lab environment
  • 1-2 years' experience in sales/customer service or lab environment(Desired)

Package

  • Competitive salary
  • Commission Scheme around £9,500

  • 20 days annual leave (plus additional days for Christmas shutdown and 8 days Bank Holidays) after 5 years it goes up to 25 days
