Overview

Reporting to the Head of Design, the RTW Designer is responsible for conceptualisation and design of the RTW Womenswear collection from concept to completion for Stella McCartney. You will work closely with the Head of Design, Senior Womenswear Designer and wider design team.

Your Mission

  • Support in the collection design process, specifically on flou, from research and ideation, sketching and draping to production.
  • Participate in the creative research for upcoming collections by identifying seasonal trends, creating moodboards and developing with overarching creative direction throughout the season with the Design team and Creative Director.
  • Participate in fittings and display a high level of confidence and aptitude in developing styles from sketch to production.
  • Develop toiles and prototypes, working with the Atelier team.
  • Develop a close working relationship with the Product Development team to ensure they are up to date on design development.

  • Exceptional taste and creativity levels, understanding a luxury fashion environment.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change and a high pressure.
  • A strong team player and considerate of colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Comfortable working additional hours to perform duties, including weekends and also travel when necessary.
  • High work ethic, integrity and reliability with a "Hands on" attitude, with great time management skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
