About the Role:
- Position: Carpentry and Joinery Skills Coach and Assessor
- Location: South East London
- Salary Range: £30-45
- Contract Type: Temporary
Responsibilities:
- Be the main point of contact for learners, mentors, and employers throughout the apprenticeship program.
- Deliver quality training, coaching, support, and individualized advice to meet employer and learner needs.
- Conduct highly effective learner progress reviews, accurately capturing their development.
- Plan and coordinate learning experiences to enable apprentices to pass their end-point assessment within agreed timescales.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and employers to ensure success.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent industry-relevant experience or 3 years of industry training and assessment.
- Teaching & Assessor Qualifications (or willingness to work towards them).
- Enhanced DBS Check Dated within 3 years
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and committed to equality, diversity, and quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A team player with a high level of professional behaviour.
