About the Role:

  • Position: Carpentry and Joinery Skills Coach and Assessor
  • Location: South East London
  • Salary Range: £30-45
  • Contract Type: Temporary

Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for learners, mentors, and employers throughout the apprenticeship program.
  • Deliver quality training, coaching, support, and individualized advice to meet employer and learner needs.
  • Conduct highly effective learner progress reviews, accurately capturing their development.
  • Plan and coordinate learning experiences to enable apprentices to pass their end-point assessment within agreed timescales.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and employers to ensure success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent industry-relevant experience or 3 years of industry training and assessment.
  • Teaching & Assessor Qualifications (or willingness to work towards them).
  • Enhanced DBS Check Dated within 3 years
  • Good IT and administrative skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and committed to equality, diversity, and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A team player with a high level of professional behaviour.
