Are you an experienced New Business Underwriter OR Delegated Authority Broker with a skill set in writing standard and non-standard Property Owner risks? If so please read on for details of a new Underwriter opportunity.
Our client, a recognised UK grown MGA, is setting up a new specialist PO hub in their Croydon offices and are looking to employ a driven underwriter with a liking for broker liaison and writing new business.
Working with 2 new products, one standard and another speciality you will be rating and writing new risks received from a large panel of trading brokers across the UK.
Using your experience, you will be proactive in developing key relationships with brokers whilst identifying and building key new business pipeline.
You will ideally also act as a technical referral point and mentor for other team members as required.
Experience required
Expertise in writing Property Owner risks OR Home Insurance risks (providing you are open to training on Property Owner policies)
New business driven
Enjoyment in working towards targets and working towards achieving more broker business enquiries
Natural communicator
Experience in writing risks for Listed Buildings and Graded Buildings is highly advantageous, however not essential as full training will be given
