About the role

We are committed to ensuring safe and supportive living environments for our community. Our Tenancy Enforcement team plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of life for our residents by addressing and managing issues related to anti-social behaviour (ASB). We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Tenancy Enforcement Assistant to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our residents.

As a Tenancy Enforcement Assistant, you will provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Tenancy Enforcement team, ensuring timely and effective responses to anti-social behaviour reports. You will assist Tenancy Enforcement Officers and Neighbourhood Housing Officers by liaising with colleagues, providing updates on cases, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to reports of anti-social behaviour from customers.
  • Support Tenancy Enforcement Officers by advising customers experiencing ASB issues.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the business, updating them on case progress and documenting conversations in the housing management system.
  • Stay informed on handling ASB queries effectively.
  • Accurately produce No Access Injunction paperwork for cases of non-compliance.
  • Generate callbacks for Tenancy Enforcement Officers and Neighbourhood Housing Officers.
  • Maintain accurate records of Key Risk Indicators.
  • Attend court proceedings when requested.
  • Schedule appointments for Tenancy Enforcement Officers.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, document discussions, and create action lists.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, legal obligations, policies, and procedures, including financial regulations, safeguarding, health and safety, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and manage risk within the scope of the role, ensuring controls are in place.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Promote and represent the organization positively at all times.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.

About You:

As Tenancy Enforcement Assistant you will have:

  • GCSE level or equivalent, with minimum grades A-C in Maths and English.
  • Practical experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent customer care skills and experience dealing with customers.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Good keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A full and current driving license and use of your own vehicle, insured for business use.

An NVQ III in Administration or equivalent and experience with QL or other housing management systems is desirable but not essential.
