Location: National home-based role, but the postholder will need to deliver regular face to face workshops in London (Tower Hamlets/Aldgate) and Mansfield
Hours: 29.6 hours per week (part-time)
Salary: £28,315 - £31,073 FTE per annum, plus a £480 per annum homeworking allowance (£22,652 - £24,858.40 per annum for part-time, 29.6 hours per week, plus £384 home-working allowance pro rata)
Contract type: Temporary contract (From 1st October 2024 until 31st March 2026)

We are looking for a can-do person, someone who can lead the Fuel Your Finances team, use creative strategies to engage people in the project, and support them to reduce their financial pressures and stress - leading to improved mental health and wellbeing. The Fuel Your Finances project will be delivered in Mansfield and Tower Hamlets/Aldgate, working alongside food provision such as FOOD Clubs and Food Stores.

Your impact

You will take the lead in delivering the Fuel Your Finances project, achieving a range of positive outcomes for low income and vulnerable families including: increased income; reduced financial pressures and stress; increased skills, knowledge and confidence around cooking, eating and heating in an energy efficient and healthy way; reduced energy use and savings on energy bills; increased awareness around energy safeguarding, gas safety and the dangers of carbon monoxide, contributing to improved safety at home; increased awareness of and engagement with other local support services.

Your skills

You will have demonstrable experience of implementing new services or projects and the ability to successfully manage teams that are working across a wide geographical area. You will also have a strong track record in service delivery with a focus on quality, outcomes and safeguarding. You will have a client-facing approach and be passionate about coproduction and engaging our service users using strength based approaches.
