DEI Strategic Lead

My client one of the largest firefighting and rescue organisations in the world seek an experienced DEI Strategic Lead.
We are seeking a DEI Strategic Lead to play a crucial role in the design and delivery of DEI educational interventions. This position will be instrumental in leading the programme management of the Education strand of our DEI Strategy, building staff capability in this area, and supporting the overall delivery of cultural change.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the design, delivery, and procurement of DEI educational interventions that develop staff capability and contribute to our organisational goals around cultural change.
- Direct the programme management of various initiatives under the Education strand of the DEI Strategy.
- Work in partnership with staff and other key stakeholders across the organisation to improve their capability and confidence in the DEI space and embed inclusion in all aspects of our work.
- Ensure DEI interventions are appropriately designed to reflect the differing needs of all staff and the communities we serve.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in designing, facilitating, or delivering educational interventions.
- Adaptable, proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented with the ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet browsing.
- Organised individual with an eye for detail and a background in DEI.
