We are delighted to be working with a manufacturing business in the East Yorkshire area who are looking for a new Group Finance Director to drive the financial strategy for the business and its subsidiary companies.
What the Finance Director job involves
- Accurate preparation of management accounts, financial reports and statements along with accurate commentary.
- Review any financial risks and compliance standards.
- Implement financial strategies to support growth plans.
- Manage and inspire the finance team, encouraging high standards of work and continuous improvement.
- Work with senior leaders across the business to partner with them on strategic decision making, financial insights and reports.
- Reviewing cost efficiencies to enhance profitability.
- Support with the implementation of a new ERP IFS system.
Skills required
- ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Knowledge and experience of IFRS15 is essential.
- Knowledge of IFRS2, IFRS9 and IFRS16 and foreign exchange would be beneficial.
- Advanced Excel user for analysis of reports.
- Experience of working within Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction or similar industry.
