Helpdesk Technician (1st Line Support)
Newcastle/Onsite
£25,000 - £27,000
Main Duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance.
- Provide 1st line support through the helpdesk system, resolving technical issues efficiently and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
- Log and track support requests, ensuring timely updates and communication with clients.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Tech Stack:
- Microsoft Office 365
- Active Directory
- Windows 10/11
- Basic hardware knowledge (PCs, printers, peripherals)
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Remote desktop tools
