Accounts Assistant -
3 month temp
London Bridge / Hybrid
up to £17ph depending on experience
I am recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a client of mine on a 3 month temporary assignment. You will need to be immediately available and have had previous experience in supporting a small finance team.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Preparing bills, invoices for payment run
- Obtaining statements for month end balance confirmation
- Maintaining filing of AP data
- Processing invoices in Dext (140 invoices / month
- Bank + Credit Card Recs (1,000 / month)
- Issuing ad hoc invoices (20 / month)
- Chasing VAT invoices (50 month = plus backlog of a couple hundred)
- Expenses (a dozen a month)
Experience and skills:
- Previous Accounts Assistant or AP experience
- Impeccable attention to detail and faultless accuracy.
- Good organisation and time planning skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage and meet key deadlines.
- Team player who enjoys working cross-functionally.
- Must be organised, thorough and accurate, always demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity.
