Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mobile Cleaning Operative for our client based in Braintree on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning commercial and industrial spaces across the UK, meeting client expectations whilst operating in a professional safe manner.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all allocated cleaning duties to the satisfaction of both the client and the company
- Ensuring that all cleaning equipment and machinery is checked for safe use prior to and on completion of use and is removed from van and returned clean and tidy to store area.
- Dealing with any complaints immediately and reporting to your Line Manager.
- Completing satisfaction notes/picture reports for tasks completed and reporting any issues.
- Proactively developing and maintaining the highest standards of customer care
- Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with all colleagues.
- Understanding and working towards individual, team and business objectives.
- Whilst driving company vehicles the Company Pool Vehicle Rules must be adhered to at all times.
- Maintaining a healthy and safe place to work and cooperating with managers in the implementation of health and safety matters.
- Making suggestions to improve any aspect of health and safety.
- Following the established procedures if accidents occur by reporting any accident/incident/near miss to your line manager immediately they occur.
Education, skills, and experience:
- Six months experience in a similar cleaning role desirable
- Flexible work ethic - able to work unsociable hours.
- Able to commit to long distance travel.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willing to undertake various operational/health & safety training courses, e.g., IOSH/IPAF
Working hours will be ad-hoc/flexible, including early shifts, evenings shifts & weekends, with regular overnight stays.
In return our client offers a salary of up to £25,000 per annum, as well as 28 days annual leave, paid training courses and use of a company vehicle whilst working.
