Legal Document Analyst

FPSG are seeking a Legal Document Analyst to join a new Global Business Centre based in Glasgow with a hybrid working pattern. Sitting in the Document Production team, the Legal Document Analyst role supports several areas of the business including case handlers, legal support assistants, paralegals, and the firm's BD teams. The role is extremely fast paced and you will create high level documentation working alongside other Document Production Specialists (DPS) and Document Production Assistants (DPA) swiftly and precisely.

In the Legal Document Analyst role your responsibilities will include:

  • Produce a large amount of documentation and paperwork from briefs by editing and formatting using MS Office tools, this will include creating, modifying along with converting PDF files into fully functioning documents.
  • Transcribe audio files swiftly and accurately, uploading the to the case management software
  • Create, manipulate and execute diagrams in Word/PowerPoint and Excel
  • Work closely with members of the team to ensure deadlines are met and assist where needed along with being able to request assistance effectively, sharing knowledge and experience
  • Provide quick and effective solutions to clients documentation queries and issues

To be a successful Legal Document Analyst you will have demonstrable skills and experience such as:

  • Experience in Document Production with fast and accurate audio typing with good knowledge of legal terminology, managing sensitive and confidential information
  • An advanced understanding of Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio) and the ability to troubleshoot the applicable software programmes
  • Strong knowledge of document cleaning software and DocXTools along with experience of File Site/iManage. Other knowledge of software including Visual Files, Axxia, Matter Sphere and Prolaw CMs is desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills with a focus on accuracy and quality with a problem-solving solutions orientated attitude
  • Solid verbal and written skills with the ability to work alone and also collaborate and support the team with a can do mind-set
