We are excited to be recruiting for a new Head of Residential Sales to shape and influence our London and National Sales offices. As an experienced Partner, the individual will be responsible for overseeing our sales teams across our offices, working with and recruiting new talent to help develop and grow the sales business further. This role will require a reputable leader with experience managing multiple offices, the ability to drive change and increase income and profit.

Carter Jonas has an extensive portfolio of sales offices from London, Oxford and Cambridge through to York, with over 70 Sales professionals across the business. The role will ideally be based in one of our central London offices, with a highly competitive salary package. Main tasks:

  • Lead our national residential sales business
  • Work closely with our head of sales operations, business services and regional heads to achieve strong results
  • Ability to fee earn, pitch and bring in new business
  • Focus on and grow our sales business
  • Business develop to drive new opportunity
  • Implement change to increase income and profitability
  • Recruit and manage the best people
  • Arrange appropriate training, carry out appraisals and set targets and appropriate commission arrangements
  • Prepare business plans
  • Identify and action potential acquisitions
  • Understand REAPIT (CRM) and ensure we get the most out of the software
  • Oversee our sales teams processes and paperwork and ensure we are working in accordance with current legislation
  • Chair meetings and work with senior team to implement and review sales projections and budgets.

What will it take to be successful?

This role requires an experienced residential sales professional, who has led and managed multiple teams and offices, ideally including central London. They will have a proven track record of generating sales and new business with excellent knowledge of the residential sales market. They will be able to demonstrate their leadership skills, developing their teams to grow office income. They will have excellent budget and fee management skills, with experience of advising and reporting on a regular basis. The role will ideally be based in London, however travel to and from regional offices will be expected. A full clean driving licence will be required for this role.
