My client is a world leader in specialised electronic technologies and are looking for a Diagnostic Test Technician - Electronics based in Portchester, Hampshire, to join their growing engineering team.
The Diagnostic Test Technician - Electronics based in Portchester will be working as part of the Test department, assessing, testing and fault-finding microelectronic circuits, ensuring all test work is performed correctly, to the correct standards and within a timely manner, mainly using Automatic Test Equipment.
Specific Duties for The Diagnostic Test Technician - Electronics based in Portchester, Hampshire:
- Set up Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) station
- Testing micro electronic circuits using Automatic Test Equipment to ensure the functionality and reliability of electronic components
- Testing and fault-finding on non-functioning printed circuit boards and electronic modules/components to identify issue and repair if appropriate
- Work independently to complete functional tests of micro electronic circuits to specification
- Maintain Test Program and Burn-in database log
- Ensure test results are reported as required by internal and external standards
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the Diagnostic Test Technician - Electronics based in Portchester, Hampshire:
- Ability to test, fault-find and repair efficiently and accurately
- Experience of testing and fault-finding electronic circuits
- Working knowledge of and experience of using test equipment (Power supplies, Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, function generators)
- Proficient in complex electrical wiring and electronics schematics
