Multidrop Van Driver (Term Time Only)
£16 p/h, Burgess Hill, Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm, Generous bonus scheme, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, pension, free parking on site
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Multidrop Van Driver to join our client, a friendly family run business, to deliver goods to established clients across the Sussex & Surrey areas.
Working as a part of a small team, the Multidrop Van Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of products in a timely and efficient manner.
Though the majority of the time you will be using a transit van there will be occasions when you will need to drive a 7.5t van so it would be necessary to hold a 7.5t license
This is a very busy role with duties including but not limited to:
- 90% multidrop driving, delivering goods into the clients premises and if required assisting in putting stock away
- 10% warehouse duties
- Delivering goods to site using hand pulled trolley
Requirements
The successful Van Driver will hold a 7.5t license, have experience of multi drop driving, be knowledgeable of the Sussex & Surrey areas and have no more than 3 points on license. Our client is looking someone flexible who doesn't mind rolling their sleeves and getting stuck in where needed. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you are physical fit and able to lift. My client is seeking someone who has a kind, helpful manner and is willing to go the extra mile to assist the customer.

You will be joining a successful family run business in their small depot, based in Burgess Hill. About 10 people work from the building in a hugely supportive and friendly environment.
