Our client is a well-established law firm with a growing Wealth Management Team. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional client care and are seeking a dedicated individual to support their probate sub-team, which specialises in later life planning, including Wills and Probate.
Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and proactive support to fee earners
- Assist with document production, including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Manage administrative tasks and assist with simple matters on ongoing cases
- Open, close, and archive client files
- Perform audio- and copy-typing, proofreading, and updating dictated work
- Handle client enquiries via email and telephone
- Manage document retrieval and storage
- Support lawyers with general administrative duties and diary management
Legal Assistant Requirements:
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and a sympathetic approach when dealing with clients
- Initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Team player with a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy working environment
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
Recent graduates or experienced legal assistants and secretaries are welcome to apply
