Are you a skilled chemist with a passion for innovation and hands-on experience in product development? We are looking on behalf of our Chemical industry client for an experienced Development Chemist to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory to Pilot Plant Development: Conduct lab-scale experiments and progress them to pilot plant operations, working closely with the process engineering team to transition to full-scale manufacturing.

Analytical Testing: Perform rigorous testing and analysis of products during development using advanced techniques, including:

  • Gravity measurements
  • Viscosity testing
  • Carbon analysis by LECO
  • X-Ray Diffraction (XRD)
  • X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)
  • Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
  • Optical Microscopy

Qualifications:

  • Education: BSc, MSc, or MChem in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in both development chemistry and analytical techniques.
