We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursery. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a passion for early childhood education and a proven track record in school management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and manage the nursery team to ensure high standards of care and education.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
- Oversee the planning and preparation of activities to meet children's individual needs.
- Manage budgets and ensure financial viability of the nursery.
- Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
- Conduct staff appraisals, manage performance, and identify training needs.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards within the nursery.
- Manage enrolment and ensure the nursery operates at full capacity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A relevant school management qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role within early years education.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted standards.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the nursery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
