Underwriting Administrator - 6 month FTC

REED have partnered with a global, award winning, family founded professional services firm based near Clifton Triangle, Bristol. Recruiting for an Underwriting Processing Administrator, to provide support on a full time, 6 month contracted basis.

Hybrid working: 2 days office/3 home

Hours: Mon – Fri. 9-5 – 35 hour week

This opportunity would be great for an Administrator looking to take a add some professional experience to their CV for 6 months. Whilst there's no permanent contract at the end of it, the employer is going through an exciting period of growth, and naturally roles may come up during your contract that you can apply for internally.

Duties:

Gaining updates from solicitors on the progress of insurance cases

Monitoring cases through to the collection of the premium

Reconciling the collected cash against both after and before the event policies and premiums

Resolve/escalate all instances of incorrect payment

Work closely with various internal departments and solicitor and broker business partners to gather information required to process information and cash received accurately

About you:

Admin experience – Open on sectors, but professional services could be advantageous

Equivalent of a C GCSE or upwards in Maths, English (ideally 5 in total)

Competent MS Office user, confident using Excel (more than basic knowledge)

Strong numeracy and literacy skills

Strong communicator both written and verbal
