An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Officer with bid writing experience to join a leading Charity. We are seeking an individual with exceptional written and digital skills to communicate, publicise, and support the organisation's work across England. This role involves developing and promoting a range of online, digital, and accessible engagement methods and will be primarily home-based, with very occasional travel for onsite team meetings.
Day to Day of the role:
- Develop and distribute engaging content across various platforms, including social media, news stories, and marketing assets.
- Promote a variety of online, digital, and accessible engagement methods to enhance interaction with the organisation's services.
- Collaborate with operational leads to build the organisation's profile locally and nationally.
- Expand the digital presence and enhance the accessibility of digital resources.
- Prepare, produce, and promote campaigns and initiatives that support the organisation's objectives.
- Utilise creative tools such as Canva/Adobe to create visually stunning materials that resonate with the target audience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and digital communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling content.
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
- Familiarity with online engagement tools and digital marketing strategies.
- Creative flair with experience using design software like Canva or Adobe.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills.
