Marketing and Communications Officer

  • Salary: £28,000 - £32,700 depending on experience
  • Location: Home-based with occasional travel

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Officer with bid writing experience to join a leading Charity. We are seeking an individual with exceptional written and digital skills to communicate, publicise, and support the organisation's work across England. This role involves developing and promoting a range of online, digital, and accessible engagement methods and will be primarily home-based, with very occasional travel for onsite team meetings.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop and distribute engaging content across various platforms, including social media, news stories, and marketing assets.
  • Promote a variety of online, digital, and accessible engagement methods to enhance interaction with the organisation's services.
  • Collaborate with operational leads to build the organisation's profile locally and nationally.
  • Expand the digital presence and enhance the accessibility of digital resources.
  • Prepare, produce, and promote campaigns and initiatives that support the organisation's objectives.
  • Utilise creative tools such as Canva/Adobe to create visually stunning materials that resonate with the target audience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and digital communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling content.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Familiarity with online engagement tools and digital marketing strategies.
  • Creative flair with experience using design software like Canva or Adobe.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills.
