Trainee Sales Executive

An ambitious and successful Guildford based business is looking for a trainee sales executive to join its commercial function.

Reporting to the sales manager and working closely with the wider sales and marketing teams this role offers an individual to broaden their experience out of customer service or B2C sales and develop in the world of B2B sales.

The firm is well established and offers a variety of products and services, across the UK to B2B and B2C markets. The environment is supportive, hard working and very nurturing - people tend to stay in this business forever after they start.

The role will involve responding to enquiries over the phone, meeting customers face to face, prospecting to businesses and building relationships with strategic partners who may have associated services that could help each other.

We are looking to find people who have a flair for building relationships and a drive to do well. The role can pay excellent commission for people who are tenacious, welcoming, service orientated and skilled at closing sales.

To apply to this role you should be someone who wants to develop a career path in sales, someone who has discovered a love for working with customers and people in general. You should be inquisitive, a quick learner, a great listener and a hard-working individual who is determined to be successful. You should have gained experience in roles that are customer facing and have included processing transactions or closing sales over the phone. This could be from service centre, travel, estate agency or other similar customer orientated roles.

It should be noted that you will need to have a drivers licence and there will be the occasional need to work on bank holidays in this role.

This role offers a basic salary of £23,000, commission of £20,000 OTE (but uncapped) and a further £7000 in bonus based on company performance.
