Senior Account Executive or Account Manager - consumer and purpose PR
Are you a Senior Account Executive or newly promoted Account Manager with consumer PR experience and a passion for social issues? Perhaps you're bored of doing 'rinse and repeat' consumer campaigns and want to work on projects that are actually affecting positive change in the world around us - if this describes you then this role will definitely be of interest.
The company I'm recruiting for is the purpose-driven arm of one of the UKs leading consumer PR agencies. You'll be working on a broad mix of clients including charities, consumer finance and tech, healthcare, travel and property brands, so will get a real variety with each client and campaign. While you have the day-to-day perks of a smaller team, you also have the backing of a much larger networked agency behind you offering the best of both worlds. This company offers one of the most robust benefits packages in the industry, and the salary for this role is circa 30-37k DOE as an SAE or AM.
As a Senior Account Executive OR Account Manager, the core focus of your role will be to lead on the delivery of PR strategies for clients, ensuring your output is always at an exceptionally high standard. Being part of a small team, you'll need to have an entrepreneurial mindset - someone who is proactive and ambitious. And you'll need to be comfortable turning your hand at any client that comes your way with a positive attitude and a drive to do excellent work.
What I'm looking for
I'd love to hear from candidates who have the following skills, attributes and experience:
- Someone who thrives working within a tight-knight day-to-day team and understands the dynamics
- Must come from a PR agency background or someone who is doing Public Relations within an agency setting
- Experience working across a broad range of sectors, ideally within the consumer space
- Traditional PR experience - dealing with clients daily, contributing to the management of accounts, lots of media relations and press office management
- Passionate about purpose-led work and able to demonstrate personal interests in social & environmental issues
- Comfortable and competent client handler
