Executive Assistant to Chief Human Resources Officer

Posted by Jo Thompson Recruitment.

Our client is undergoing an exciting period of change and significant growth and is seeking a professional and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, you will provide proactive strategic and tactical administrative support to the Executive, enhancing the CHRO's productivity. You'll manage a demanding schedule and collaborate closely with leadership at all levels, employees, and external stakeholders and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive and administrative support to the CHRO and HR Executive team, including full diary management across multiple time zones.
  • Manage the CHRO's inbox and meetings, tracking responses, flagging key or urgent items, compiling data, and preparing or editing reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate and arrange travel logistics.
  • Manage and coordinate the schedule for preparing board and related documents, ensuring timely review and approval by the CHRO.
  • Offer program support and project management for HR initiatives as needed.
  • Proactively plan and prepare for meetings, such as HR Leadership Meetings and Business Reviews, including managing agendas, logistics, materials preparation, and recording actions.
  • Track and administer budget processes.
  • Prepare expense reports, raise purchase orders, and track invoices.

Ideally, you will need a proven background supporting a C-suite executive, or an equivalent combination of experience and university level education within a fast-paced corporate environment.

With strong planning and organisational skills, your ability to anticipate business needs, manage multiple projects and effectively prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines will be a daily challenge. Your ability to manage sensitive information and work in partnership with senior management will be critical to your success. Advanced working knowledge of Office 365 is essential.

In addition to professional competence, we seek a collaborative team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, who is resourceful and eager to support a senior executive in HR.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
